AMC Pacer Vs Mercedes S550

They both do the job, but goodness, you never know luxury until you're sitting in it!

And all this time, I thought a chair was a chair.
I guess that is no more true than to say that a car is a car.

Thanks Lee, for my early Christmas present.
My whole body thanks you immensely!

Mercedes Re-Invents Marilyn-Einstein Optical Illusion

Mercedes Re-Invents Marilyn-Einstein Optical Illusion: "

While browsing internet archives for some new billboards, I’ve stumbled upon a peculiar ad done by Mercedes-Benz. It’s depicts their attempt to re-invent the classic Marilyn Monroe – Albert Einstein illusion, and give it a whole new meaning! Apart from saying this poster was done for the new Viano, there is no need to explain it further as the images below speak for themselves. What you’ll see further below (inside this post) is a close up of a central photo. When did it switch?!! I think this example perfectly showcases original illusion in action! You can see the full size poster by opening the photo below in a new window.

SPY - 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML-Klasse

The future generation of the M-Klasse is a very important model for the Stuttgart-based manufacturer and that's why Mercedes-Benz takes its time for thoroughly develop it. First prototypes hit streets back in June 2009 and now, for the second time, the cars encounter the wintry conditions once again. The latest spy pics come from the picturesque Northern Scandinavia and show a disguised W 166 test model resting on snowy tarmac. When it's unveiled in mid-2011, the new ML will sport a rounder and more attractive exterior design judging by the beautifully-sculpted front and tail overhangs and the oval headlamps, which are prolonged towards the front wings. The back end of the new SUV will borrow its inspiration from the E-Klasse W 212 generation and will showcase very similar LED rear lights. The interior is hardly a surprise: hi-tech, fresh, sporty and a tad more appealing, elegant and luxurious than in the current ML. The forthcoming M-Klasse will make use of a entirely new lineup of efficient CDI, BLUETEC and CGI engines, comprising the latest BlueEFFICIENCY technologies, possibly a diesel hybrid version alongside the usual gas-powered ML 450 HYBRID and the range-topping 435 hp ML 500 variant. The high-end super model, the ML 63 AMG, will hide under its bonnet the new 5.5 liters twin-turbo unit, that should deliver around 570 hp.

SPY - 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse Coupe

The launch date of the all new C-Klasse Coupe approaches fast, although it is still 3 months away. Till then, the testing and development phase of the latest addition to the Mercedes-Benz mid-premium models' portfolio goes underway undisturbed;the most recent spy shots reveal two C-Coupe prototypes while being driven on a test track. Both cars show an almost minimal camouflage and thus let our eyes clearly judge the important details of the exterior design.

Mercedes BENZ BIOME

Mercedes-Benz makes many high quality vehicles, but it is a great idea to consider getting an extended warranty for your Mercedes-Benz. A Mercedes-Benz Extended Warranty is available more models.
The Mercedes-Benz BIOME would grow in a completely organic environment from seeds sown in a nursery.
At this year's Los Angeles Design Challenge, the designers from the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studios in Carlsbad, CA, surprised everyone with a revolutionary vision. Taking their inspiration from nature, they designed a vehicle which is fully integrated into the ecosystem, from the moment of its creation through to the end of its service life.

The Mercedes-Benz BIOME would grow in a completely organic environment from seeds sown in a nursery. Out on the road the car emits pure oxygen, and at the end of its lifespan it can be simply composted or used as building material.
